Jobs and Houses
Back in Sheffield again, two days later than expected, but that's probably two days less boredom to be fair! And even this isn't for long, i'll be heading back to Nottingham again on Thursday, then back up here again on Saturday for my birthday! Crazy days! (as Neil would say :-) )
Went out on saturday night for Claire's birthday, although I didn't actually meet them til 9 o'clock and some of them had been drinking all day... The catch up thing didn't really work out and after we didn't get in Oceana and discovered the queue was obscene for Media, we ended up in the Cookie Club :-|
As you can imagine, I didn't stay too long there... But it wasn't a bad night overall. Claire's hopefully coming up here next saturday for my birthday as well, if I can work out where the hell we're gonna go in Sheffield on a saturday!
Since the weekend the phone hasn't stopped with agencies ringing about jobs, which can't be a bad thing I guess, but so far none of the jobs have really been that appealing. Don't think I can afford to be picky any more though, so I'll have to see what interviews I get and go on from there.
Other than answering my phone, i've spent all the rest of the time helping my parents move and putting up Ikea furniture... Oh the joy! House is looking pretty cool now though, but I still don't think I will want to stay there long, especially with the bloody low doorways that I keep banging my head on :-| Oh yeah, and the fact the shower is actually not tall enough for me!
Would have been the coolest place ever to live when I was young though, with fields all round the place and big oak trees with rope swings in and stuff! I'll post some more pictures at some point when I move in.
Anyway, for now, back to the job hunting...
