Me and Alex have been looking at going travelling somewhere next year, probably America or Canada. Would absolutley love to go for like a month or something, but at this rate I don't even know if i'll be able to afford a couple of weeks!
I love my car, but it means I have absolutley no money left over every month :-| Maybe they'll give me a pay rise at work soon... maybe....
I just can't do with another year of not going away anywhere! Whatever happens next year, I am GOING to do something!
Been looking at this company called Trek America who specialise in tours around america and a load of other countries. It does actually seem really good and reasonably well priced too for what you get. But there's sooo many good ones and by the time flights and everything are done with you're talking a couple of grand for two weeks i'd say.
And the best one, by far, is called Southern Sun, it's a tour that basically takes 21 days and stops at *takes deep breathe*....
- New York
- Washington DC
- Tennesse
- Alabama
- New Orleans (perhaps not??)
- Texas
- San Antonio
- Del Rio
- Carlsbad
- Arizona/New Mexico
- Mon. Valley
- Grand Canyon
- Lake Powell
- Zion
- Las Vegas
- Disneyland
- Los Angeles
I want to go now :(
That one's a minimum of £847 not including flights though....
Must think of a way to make some more money....

Last night was well good, had a huge bonfire party at my parents with about 40 people and lots of fireworks :)

... Oh yeah and a huge bonfire!

Sadly, I haven't got any photo's from during the night because I forgot to take my digital camera (doh!) and only had my phone. I should have a few coming though, so I shall try and put them up on Gallery.
Anyway, yeah, the night was class in the end, I say in the end because it was looking like it could all go wrong for a while. What with the constant threat of it absolutley chucking it down, not being able to light the bbq to feed 40 people because of the wind and oh yeah, a table full of alcohol collapsing!
But it got better and the fire and fireworks were really cool, Jamie and my dad set them off and did a good job keeping them going (apart from a small issue with running out of matches...). They must have gone on for more than half an hour, pretty much constant and all really good fireworks. Not really bad at all for £200.
Mike came down and got dragged into helping me bbq :) Which mainly consisted of us choking on smoke in the workshop - photo's should follow when I get them.
Another cool thing was I got to see some family I'd not seen in about 10 years! Particularly my second cousin, Noel, who was 5 when I last saw him!
Even managed to get a few games of poker in at the end of the night, so all in all one of the best weekends i've had in a long while! (particularly since I won the poker, sorry Mike ;-))
