Houses and drunkeness
In comparison to most of my weekends, just had a very hectic weekend! But good hectic :)
Mike came down fri to start looking for somewhere to live in nottingham, although we both thought it was just an excuse for a pissup (or two). It turned out we actually did both lol
Found a very nice apartment in Chilwell, not massive, but big enough and brand new. The apartment block that it's in has several available for rent to, so we can pick and choose a bit if we decide to go for it, which is nice.
Can't wait to move, be so cool living somewhere like that and it'll be a laugh living with a mate again, like being back at uni.... almost :-|
Apart from that, of course, we got pissed. Ended up at Love Shack on friday night and it was a well good night! Exactly how it used to be, every song a classic and it wasn't too rammed etc. We were to knackered to go out properly again last night, so went bowling with some others (let's not comment on my pathetic scores...) then just had a few games of pool at rileys - Again, almost felt like being back at uni for a moment. Must let go, must let go, must let go....!

Website
I've not posted much recently because for nearly the last three weeks I haven't been able to get on my website, or email or anything else! - Although apparently everyone else can, which is very odd!
So my host is meant to be moving me to a new server in the uk, and lets hope that solves the problem! But for the moment it is very frustrating not being able to get to my email, unless I do it over another connection. I'd be suspicious of my router or firewall or something if it was just me, but I can't get on it at my parents either :-S
And it's not like i've changed any settings in the last few weeks anyway.

Well anyway, apart from my website problems, not been up to much really, still trying to get a hard drive for my xbox!!!!!

Boring weekend
Not posted in a few days so I thought i'd write something, even though i have done nothing really!
My new phone's well good :-D Got it on weds and i'm still playing with all the settings and features, definitely not disappointed I got this one.
Apart from that, not much has been going on at all, been quite busy at work, quite stressful, but doing some interesting work and learning a lot, so it's all good!
As I said, not doing much this weekend, trying to save some money - although if someone had been around to go out with I'm sure I wouldn't have said no ;-)
Off up to Manchester next weekend with Alex for Mike's birthday, so that should be good. Although as always, we're stuggling to find where to go. A city the size of Manchester must have hundreds of places to go that we'd like on a sat night, but it really annoys me that there seems to be nowhere on the web to find a list of all the nights, where they are, what music is playing, how much etc. It's the same for every city, there's plenty of sites that claim they provide that info, but they're never kept up to date! Grrrr

New Phone
Just ordered an upgrade for my phone from o2. I really am spending way to much money at the moment... the upgrade was 100 quid :-|
Although, it was a pretty good deal and it's actually going to cost me nothing, because they are charging me £10 a month less line rental for the next 12 months, so i'll actually save £20! Plus i'm getting an extra 100 texts a month free, which is nice.
I still really want to go away in the summer, so does Alex and Claire was on about it on friday too, but i've just been spending stupidly and I just don't think I can afford it again :-(
Maybe, I'll just think sod it and spend my overdraft while its still free, but I really don't want any more debt!

How lucky am I....
.... I got an Xbox 360 :-D :-D
I have no idea how either! Just walked into Curry's on friday and thought I might as well ask and they had one in the warehouse!??! The crazy thing is, this has happened to two of us this christmas now. Tom did the same thing with PC World on boxing day!
Only annoying thing is I can't get a sodding hard drive, they really don't have any anywhere. But at least I have an Xbox :-)
We had a few games of PGR3 and Perfect Dark Zero on new years eve of course and then proceeded to get very drunk and play poker as planned. Was a good night, although scarily even though we got through a shitload of alcohol, none of us had much of a hangover the next day.
Quite an early finish for us, poker-wise, stopped about half four in the end. Must be getting old :-|
What else has happened. Oh yeah, me and Mike walked out of The Producers last night it was that shit, please god, no-one go and see it. I have never walked out of a film before, it takes a lot for me to waste £6! I could rant on all day about how crap it was, but i'll stop now....
Right, back to the Xbox before I get too depressed about going back to work tomorrow
